|Mapping the Maze is a new report aiming to map service provision specifically for women facing homelessness, substance misuse, poor mental health, offending and complex needs generally. It finds that there is not enough help across the board for women in England and Wales. Support is extremely patchy – with some areas having a range of services for women, while others had very few or no services at all.|
This briefing provides an overview of some of the key reasons why women are a hidden population among those with multiple needs and the particular issues and barriers they face.
|This national report praises the work of the WY-FI Project, our partner Together Women and West Yorkshire drug services for the committed and intensive support provided to prison leavers.|
