WY-FI Pop Up Photography & Poetry Exhibition
Popping up for just 5 days this painfully honest exhibition shows the strength of the human soul when recovering from homelessness, addiction, re-offending and mental ill health. Visitors will be able to see and read about experiences that most humans never have to encounter, created and presented by people who have been there themselves – and recovered.
The exhibition will open at 2pm on Monday 2 December 2019 in The Albany Arcade, Halifax Borough Market. Everyone is welcome at the opening event or simply just pop along and have a look throughout the week. Staff and people with their own lived experience of homelessness, addiction, re-offending and/or mental ill health will be available around lunch time most days for a chat.
The exhibition has been produced entirely by beneficiaries of the WY-FI Project. WY-FI is one of 12 partnerships in England supported by the National Lottery Community Fund.
