Peer Mentoring at WY-FI

Peer Mentor Training

The Employment, Training and Education (ETE) Team at Touchstone has delivered tailored Peer Mentor training to more than 100 WY-FI beneficiaries over the lifetime of the project.

The training gives beneficiaries the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge to be able to nurture and support people with multiple needs – drawing on their own lived experience to empower others.

The role of a WY-FI Peer Mentor

WY-FI Peer Mentors volunteer with our Navigator Teams across West Yorkshire (Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield).

They use their lived experience to build mentoring relationships with WY-FI beneficiaries, demonstrating visible recovery and instilling hope.
