WY-FI is part of the wider Big Lottery Fund Fulfilling Lives Programme and is made possible by National Lottery funding from the Big Lottery Fund.
Our delivery partners include: DISC (lead partner), Bridge, Barca-Leeds, Community Links, Foundation, Spectrum CIC, and Touchstone. We firmly believe that by working together the WY-FI Project will strengthen support to beneficiaries to ensure their effective engagement in services to ensure they achieve their personal goals and aspirations.
What we do
WY-FI supports people who are not engaging effectively with services and are experiencing entrenched needs in at least three of the following HARM area:
- Addiction to drugs and/or alcohol
- Mental ill-health

WY-FI does not deliver services but works with existing local services to co-ordinate and work together effectively to fully meet individual needs in a person-centred and co-ordinated way via a Multi-Agency Review Board (MARB).
The WY-FI Project is overseen by the Core Partner Management Board which is made up of Experts by Experience, representatives from the voluntary sector, delivery partners and statutory organisations including: local authorities, police, prison, probation, public health and mental health. The Core Partner Management Board and the WY-FI Project have a commitment to learning together and to challenging organisational and agencies culture and practice.
The long-term aims of the project are to push for flex in service provision for service users, as well as policy and system change on a local, regional and national level.
