Community Links, one of WY-FI’s delivery partner organisations, recently hosted a multiple needs event in Kirklees. ‘Continuing the Conversation’ was an opportunity to share some of the findings from the WY-FI (West Yorkshire Finding Independence) Project.
Guests were invited to have conversations about how to shape the future of multiple and complex needs in Kirklees, focused particularly on Person Centred Care, Co-Production, Multi-Agency Partnerships and System/Policy Change.
One of the speakers on the day was WY-FI’s Research and Evaluation Lead Mark Crowe (pictured). Other speakers included Roger Abbott, Workforce Development Co-ordinator for WY-FI and Yan Jarrett from Touchstone, WY-FI’s Education, Training and Employment Team.
One guest commented afterwards that Continuing the Conversation was “a good opportunity to network”, whilst another reflected that they “liked the positivity of the day”.
The Team at Community Links will be working through all of the feedback from the event and using this to inform ongoing conversations about the future of multiple and complex needs in the area.
