WY-FI Bradford has recently been chosen by Freeman Grattan Holdings as their Christmas Charity, the financial donations will be made to Inn Churches to support their work providing beds for the homeless in bad weather and nutritious food for people who are struggling to survive.

WY-FI Bradford have benefited from generous donations of warm clothes, food, toiletries.  The warm clothes have included socks, hats, scarves and coats among other things. Toiletries have included toothpaste, soap and deodorant.  The initial impact to our beneficiaries are at least one street homeless man and woman have now got a toothbrush and toothpaste and a complete change of clothes along with a waterproof backpack to keep these things in. Another woman, due to be released from prison, would have only had the clothes she stood up in, she now has a holdall containing several changes of clothes and toiletries to start her off, without this help this lady could well have found life very difficult.  Another beneficiary who is on a recovery path and attending a college course has been provided with a warm coat to enable her to complete her course in this cold weather.  Two men who have recently moved from street homeless to a hostel have now got a change of clothing each including warm socks and hats.

There is so much more to go yet, our team of Navigators are keenly on the lookout to identify more of our beneficiaries to receive these generous items.

On behalf of the beneficiaries of Bradford WY-FI, we would like to pass on our thanks to the staff of Freeman Grattan Holdings, we hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. 30.11.2016
